About this Book

Born out of the experiences of hundreds of thousands of women who Raechel and Amanda have walked alongside as they walk with the Lord, She Reads Truth is the message that will help you understand the place of God's Word in your life.

I love reading and sharing my latest book with readers like you. I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. I am friends with many authors and also have a client relationship with many of them. This book may be one I received from a current or future client. Regardless of my relationship with the author, this review reflects my honest opinions of the book. For more information view my full disclaimer policy.

She Reads Truth: Holding Tight to Permanent in a World That's Passing Away is a book full of Biblical truths and the stories of two woman.

If you don’t know about She Reads Truth, the website that is, let me give you a quick background. The site’s mission is for woman to be in the Word of God everyday. They do this through devotionals and creating daily Bible readings. These readings are available digitally and physically.

They also have a division for men, appropriately called He Reads Truth. I started out with their app and then decided to subscribe to receive their study books.

Since I’ve used their product, I was interested in reading their story-although it was geared toward woman. I figured, if these two are behind the study books I use, then why not read their book.

I have to say, before I get very far into this review, that I love the cover of the book! The book itself has a nice look and feel to it and then the jacket is cut on a angle and just makes the book look neat.

The book is broken down in an interesting way. There are chapters and then each chapter written by one of the authors. What I loved about the setup is that each chapter has a little colorful tag that tells you who wrote the chapter. I liked this because I didn’t have to keep trying to figure out whose story I was reading.

The biggest thing that stood out to me in this book was the use of and focus on Scripture. Through the stories and life examples of the authors, they very clearly drove home the point of the book that only God and His Word remain unchanged.

While this book wasn’t specifically written for men, I was impacted through the book. As the authors shared how God’s truths impacted them and the situations in their lives I was challenged by their faith.

I’m very glad I had the opportunity to read this book. It is one that left a lasting impression on me and I’m thankful to the authors for their honesty and openness.
