About this Book

If I Live is a grabber from page one, delivering an exhilarating mix of chase, mystery, and spiritual truth. Longtime Blackstock fans will be delighted, and new Blackstock fans will be made.” —James Scott Bell, bestselling author of the Mike Romeo thrillers

Casey Cox is still on the run after being indicted for murder. The hunt that began with her bloody footprints escalates, and she’s running out of places to hide. Her face is all over the news, and her disguises are no longer enough. It’s only a matter of time before someone recognizes her.
Dylan Roberts, the investigator who once hunted her, is now her only hope. Terrifying attempts on Dylan’s life could force Casey out of hiding. The clock is ticking on both their lives, but exposing the real killers is more complicated than they knew. Amassing the evidence to convict their enemies draws Dylan and Casey together, but their relationship has consequences. Will one life have to be sacrificed to protect the other?
With If I Live, Terri Blackstock takes us on one more heart-stopping chase in the sensational conclusion to the If I Run series.
“Crisp dialogue and unexpected twists make this compulsive reading. . .” —Publishers Weekly review of If I Run

I love reading and sharing my latest book with readers like you. I received this book for free in exchange for an honest review. I am friends with many authors and also have a client relationship with many of them. This book may be one I received from a current or future client. Regardless of my relationship with the author, this review reflects my honest opinions of the book. For more information view my full disclaimer policy.

I have a confession; sometimes I don't read books in the correct order. I know…I was always afraid of ruining the story, but there are so many books I want to read (#bookproblems), and I hate to miss out on a great book just because I apparently missed the memo on how fantastic a book series is!

Well, when the third book in Terri Blackstock's If I Run series, If I Live, showed up, I wasn't sure what to do. I knew this book would be the conclusion to a series I knew nothing about, but, the story sounded so engaging, I knew I had to give the third book a try. I didn't realize what I was missing out on!

Back when the series first released, Terri was a new author to me, and I didn't know if I had the time to get started on a new series (I know, what was I thinking!?!?!?) then I found myself diving into the final book in the series unable to put it down! Although I didn't know what I was getting into, I could tell the other two books were most likely equally engaging!

I loved Blackstock's writing style and the way she kept me hooked through the story. I found it exhilarating following Casey as she was hiding and wondering if, and when, someone would find her.

I had a tough time putting this book down. So much so that I want to go and read the first two books to find out what I missed! I can't end this review without mentioning the cover of the three books. I love the creativity they put into making the three book covers in the series create an image when put together. If you haven't seen it, you will have to check it out!

If all of Terri Blackstock's books are like this one, then she has a new fan who can't wait to read whatever she writes next!
